THE BEST DANCE MUSIC LIVE SETS OF APRIL 2022

Summertime is slowly but surely kicking in, and that means we’re getting to highlight more and more festival live sets in addition to those incredible club shows. We’ve had Brazilian brothers Cat Dealers hit Lollapalooza in their home country, and lots of trance’s finest sent sparks flying at A State Of Trance 1000 in Los Angeles. April 2022 has been a joy to behold, these were the best dance music live sets.

Cat Dealers at Lollapalooza, Brasil
Around the release of recent single ‘Stronger’ with HRRTZ and their rework of Robbie Rivera’s classic ‘Funkatron’, Cat Dealers hyped up the crowd of Lollapalooza Brazil in signature fashion. Not a full live set this time around, but the recap is definitely enjoyable as well for those who can’t get enough of the Brazilian duo.

Armin van Buuren live at A State Of Trance 1000 (Los Angeles - United States)
An hour and a half of Armin van Buuren at A State Of Trance 1000: no trance fan can say no to that. The five-time #1 DJ in the world hammered down relentlessly with lots of ID tracks and some incredible mash-ups to boot. He also played one of his latest singles called ‘Let You Down’, so make sure you catch that one along the way!

Gabriel & Dresden live at A State Of Trance 1000 (Los Angeles - United States)
Bringing some of their most beloved (and timeless) classics back to life through several incredible mashups, American duo Gabriel & Dresden bolstered their legacy with their one-hour performance at A State Of Trance 1000 in L.A. Combining the old and the new whilst showcasing some of today’s hottest tracks, the pair gave the crowd the perfect live set to vibe to.

MaRLo live at A State Of Trance 1000 (Los Angeles - United States)
Fans of MaRLo know what to expect whenever the Dutch-Australian DJ and producer takes the stage: sonic tremors for, in this case, one hour straight. You can’t contain the music of the Reaching Altitude label boss, and this live set proves it.

Ruben de Ronde live at A State Of Trance 1000 (Los Angeles - United States)
Ruben de Ronde takes the decks at almost every A State Of Trance event, and this phenomenal live set proves why. His incredibly infectious progressive sound has been a fan favorite for years, and this one-hour show, which also saw L.A. duo Elevven join Ruben on stage for the premiere of their remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Can’t Sleep’, will have you coming back for more as well.

Cosmic Gate live at A State Of Trance 1000 (Los Angeles - United States)
And last but certainly not least, Cosmic Gate. One of trance’s most iconic duos, the German pair deliver a live set that supercharges the crowd from start to finish, and in particular when modern renditions from their most well-known classics come into play. Pure mayhem from Cosmic Gate.
