ARTIST PROFILE: LOST FREQUENCIES

A lot of us are still confined to our homes, so today is a good time to read up on everything your favorite artists are up to. This week’s victim is our own Belgian wonderkid Lost Frequencies, who recently lit up the world with his new collab with Zonderling and Kelvin Jones: ‘Love To Go’. Eager to find out what he’s been doing as of late? Read on!

LOVE TO GO

Released last month, ‘Love To Go’ proved that the link-up between Lost Frequencies, Zonderling and Kelvin Jones is a match made in heaven. Containing similar vibes to their Lost Frequencies and Zonderling’s previous collaboration (last year’s global hit ‘Crazy’), ‘Love To Go’ matches the emotional feels of this current situation with acoustic folky sounds, poetic lyrics and a powerful arpeggiated synth.

LOST FREQUENCIES

Born Felix de Laet, Lost Frequencies has rapidly become an international figure in electronic music. He first emerged in 2014 with breakthrough track ‘Are You With Me’, earning him a string of #1 positions and certified gold, platinum and double platinum across the globe. His second release on Armada Music, ‘Reality’ featuring singer-songwriter Janieck Devy, soon followed suit, hitting #1 in both Belgium and Germany. By 2020, he has accumulated over a billion stream and worked with big artists such as Major Lazer, James Blunt, Aloe Blacc, Armin van Buuren, Kanye West and many more.

DID YOU KNOW?

We played a game of ‘Never Have I Ever’ with Lost Frequencies and got some very interesting answers to our questions. Who would’ve thought that his favorite thing to bring on tour is a Kindle? Click here to watch the full IG TV episode.

And there’s more! Because even though he told us he’d be “more likely to live in a desert than do a 24/7 livestream on social media”, he recorded a special ‘Armada Unites’ live set from home to give his fans something to enjoy during these quarantine times.

So turn up the volume and put on your dancing shoes, ‘cause whoever said we can’t have the festival-feel indoors hasn’t tuned in yet! Music can’t be contained.
