‘Darkest Before Dawn’ is the result of a year-long creative journey between AVIRA and ENNEA—two friends who connected over music, video games and a shared love of experimenting with sound. The EP blends playful ideas with some more reflective moments across three tracks. ‘RING RING’, featuring Rubicini, kicks things off with an urgent, energetic pulse, while ‘this is the meta’ drops you into a glitchy, computer's idea of a carnival-rave-soundscape. The title track, ‘Darkest Before Dawn’, features a vocal from Kayrae that’s honest and emotive, bringing a real sense of clarity to the EP.
