A familiar face in the Armada University space, Maxim Lany imparts why being open-minded toward other genres goes a long way in updating your own sound. The Belgian DJ/producer runs through an older version of his recent single ‘Trippin’’ (with Sylvain Armand and Davina Malek) to show and tell how other music styles inspired him to produce the new, updated version that got released on Armada Music earlier this year.

Showing his fondness of mixing up various styles, he takes a track he'd finished less than a week ago and dissects it on the spot to shine on his production process, showcase the many genres he draws inspiration from and impart how important a streamlined workflow is.

Providing the first one-hour course of Armada University’s full-scale ADE 2022 event, Ableton Certified Trainer Camiel Daamen fires up Ableton Live for a detailed masterclass on sound design. He also works with MIDI effect and various other creative tools to unlock – and showcase – the full potential of working within Ableton Live.
