Trey Mirror launches eye-opening music video of 'Moment' ahead of remix EP
Following the mid-June release of his five-track debut EP, Trey Mirror is continuing to turn heads in the lead up to the EP’s forthcoming remix pack. Today, the anonymous act launched the official music video of lead single ‘Moment’, which shines a light on life’s most precious occasions.
An audiovisual journey into the short-and-intense milestone moments that could be anyone’s, the music video portrays people from all corners of society experiencing life to its fullest. Beautiful yet eye-opening, the visuals mirror the track’s existential and spiritual nature and perfectly match the EP’s theme of looking deep into one’s self to find understanding.
In a few weeks from now, Trey Mirror’s ‘Moment’ EP will also welcome its highly anticipated remix pack. In addition to remixes from Farves, QZB and Teho, the four-track release will feature a reimagination from leading electronic musician Max Cooper, who’s garned industry-wide acclaim for his approach to music production and live performances.
A relatively new name within the dance music realm, Trey Mirror is one of the latest to join Amsterdam-, New York- and London-based record label Armada Music. His moniker aims to reflect the different views of reality whilst putting a organic, yet electronic sound to the feeling of melancholy that can’t be shaken.
Trey Mirror is looking to remain anyonymous for the foreseeable future, but the mirrors will become part of the live performance to echo some of the inspiration and political motivation behind the music.
