Dennis Ferrer’s Acclaimed Debut Album Available For First Time in One Vinyl Package

The re-issue comes as an official Record Store Day 2025 release

London, U.K., April 11, 2025 – Widely regarded as one of the greatest house music albums of the 21st century, Dennis Ferrer’s 2006 debut album ‘The World As I See It’ has been reissued on vinyl in a limited run—marking the first time all ten tracks from the album have been available in one vinyl package. Coinciding with Record Store Day 2025, the release will be available at participating retailers across the U.S. and U.K. from April 12, 2025.

Originally released in 2006 on the iconic NYC house label King Street Sounds, ‘The World As I See It’ features timeless dancefloor anthems such as ‘Church Lady’ with Danil Wright, ‘How Do I Let Go’ featuring K.T. Brooks, and ‘Touched The Sky’ featuring Mia Tuttavilla. The album received widespread acclaim within the underground scene and solidified Ferrer’s reputation as a key figure in house music—particularly in the deep and soulful house subgenres.

‘The World As I See It’ reached #26 on the Official UK Dance Albums Chart in 2006 and later re-emerged on digital platforms, peaking at #43 on the iTunes Chart in 2022, and #24 on the Apple Music Chart in 2020. The single ‘Touched The Sky’ also saw success, peaking at #32 on the Official UK Independent Singles Chart in 2007.

In a recent documentary from Armada Music and Beatport—part of the 2024 relaunch of King Street Sounds—scene trailblazers hailed tracks like ‘Church Lady’ as “unavoidable,” while Dennis Ferrer shared exclusive detailed insights into the origins and making of ‘How Do I Let Go.’

‘The World As I See It’ is available as a limited edition sky blue high quality double pack vinyl and includes a frameable, double sided record sleeve-sized poster.
