ATTLAS Hits Armada Music With Flawless Remix of Joachim Pastor’s ‘Be Someone’

A little under a year after flaunting his standout production capabilities on remix duty for ARTY and Conrad Sewell’s ‘Kingdom’, ATTLAS is landing on Armada Music again with another superb rework. This time, the Canadian producer put his hand to Joachim Pastor and EKE’s ‘Be Someone’, with his efforts culminating in a record that tickles the imagination in the best possible way.

As can be expected from an artist sporting such a track record, ATTLAS takes breaths away with this immaculate interpretation of Joachim Pastor’s ‘Be Someone’. From the hypnotic beat and rhythm to the shimmering pads to the tantalizing melodies executed to perfection, this rework is exactly what hopes and dreams sound like.

Joachim Pastor: “I love ATTLAS’ remix of ‘Be Someone’. He has truly transposed the emotion of the original track into his own recognizable touch and style, and I think that is the essence of a remix: making a completely different track with common ingredient. And this one is a success for sure.”

ATTLAS: “It’s an honor to work with the music of Joachim Pastor on the legendary Armada Music label. During this period of isolation and personal confusion, it’s a chance for me to lose myself in melody, emotion, energy and hope again. “

Over the course of the past five years, ATTLAS (Jeff Hartford) has become one of dance music’s most celebrated artists. The Canadian musician signed his first few records to Deadmau5’s Mau5trap imprint in 2015 and has since been making waves across the electronic music realm, captivating his enthusiastic fan base with a range of incredible records, two-hour long DJ mixes bearing the mark of his Storyline series and his second and latest artist album titled ‘Out Here With You’, which encompasses the shift in the music industry and the way we’re digesting music without live touring. Add to that his delightful remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Kaskade, Kidnap, Lane8, ARTY and now Joachim Pastor, and there’s no denying that the music of ATTLAS is steeped in global appeal.
