Armin van Buuren and Indira Paganotto Unleash Genre-Blending Debut Collab Single ‘Dragon’ Ahead of Debut Sónar Festival Back-To-Back

The track is the final single to drop from Armin van Buuren’s highly anticipated ninth studio album ‘Breathe’

June 13, 2025 – Just a day out from their anticipated debut back-to-back at Sónar Festival, global trance icon Armin van Buuren joins forces with Spanish techno-psytrance powerhouse Indira Paganotto for the explosive new single ‘Dragon’, marking their long-awaited first studio collaboration. The track drops as the latest addition to Armin van Buuren’s upcoming album ‘Breathe’.

Built for the mainstage, ‘Dragon’ harnesses the fire and stadium-quaking energy of psytrance-techno icon Indira Paganotto and global trance icon Armin van Buuren. Having already stormed stages at Ultra, Dreamstate, Tomorrowland, EDC, Cercle and more, this fire-spitting, genre-blending track effortlessly cements itself as a scene staple.

Armin van Buuren says: “Indira has been at the forefront of the psytrance and techno scene for several years now and I’m amazed at how quickly she took it by storm. She reached out to me a while back, and blending our styles seemed to make a lot of sense. So as you can expect, ‘Dragon’ is one for the mainstages!”

Indira Paganotto adds: “For me, ‘Dragon’ is the power of everything! Its nature, humanity, art, and spirituality. It's the result of two forces with the same mission, to reach the hearts and minds of our warriors with our music. So excited for this release to finally come out, we have both been playing this for a while and it's magical.”

‘Dragon’ is the latest single revealed from ‘Breathe’, Armin van Buuren’s expansive and diverse two-part album project, set for release on June 27. Featuring a total of 51 tracks, the album brings together chart-topping hits, surprising collaborations (e.g. Pendulum & Rob Swire, Sam Gray, Moby, Bon Jovi), and new releases like ‘Let It Be For Love’ (feat. Jai Ryu) and ‘Gimme The Love’ (with Seth Hills, feat. Alessia Labate). Inspired by Armin van Buuren’s stronger sense of self, more creativity and an even more dauntless approach to studio work, the album is chock full of sound fusions and expert songwriting, showing that a balanced mind and lifestyle can lead to wonder.

Armin van Buuren and Indira Paganotto’s back-to-back set at Sónar Festival will be livestreamed via ARTE Concert’s YouTube channel, and available on demand afterwards.
