Things I Like To Do When I'm Not Touring: Andrew Rayel

The era of shows and festivals is on hold for now, but we couldn't help but wonder what our favourite DJs love to do when they're NOT on tour. Today, we had a chat with Trance legend Andrew Rayel about just that.

So, Andrew, what do you like to do when you're not touring?

1. Listen to classical music
Classical music gets me in such a creative mood. It inspires me to create some epic melodies for my tracks and it also opens my mind to all the chord combinations and the variety of harmonies out there!

2. Watch a good movie or TV show
It really clears my mind after a long day in the studio, giving me new energy to enjoy the rest of the day.

3. Create new music and learn new things in production
I'll be back to touring at some point and I like to be prepared with new music that will make my fans happy. This is also the perfect time to learn how to produce new things, create new sounds, new combinations... well, basically find new ways to evolve my sound!

4. Organise my computers
I like when things are organised. It's easier to find everything much faster and it speeds up your work in anything you do.

5. Experience a normal life
I try to live a normal life as much as possible. I love to do 'normal' things in and around the house like visiting my family every week, driving my girlfriend to work, taking out the trash, cleaning the dishes etc. It really helps take out the stress and makes me feel more connected to my home.
