Help Armin & 3FM raise money for charity!
Every year, Dutch radio station 3FM has an original way to raise money for a good cause. Three radio DJ's let themselves be locked into the so-called Glass House, where they don't eat anything for 6 days but broadcast radio and tv for 24 hours a day. All with one mission: to raise money for charity. This year, Giel Beelen, Gerard Ekdom and Coen Swijnenberg are locked into the Glass House in Eindhoven, trying to raise money for the silent victims of AIDS, the children. Listeners can offer money to get their requests played on the radio and many artists come up with a special way to bring in more money for this great initiative.
Since Serious Request and the glass house will be taking place in Leiden next year, Armin van Buuren will represent his hometown as the ambassador and travel to Eindhoven on December 24th. He will offer the DJ's a check for charity, a check with the total amount of money raised by the city of Leiden. And that's where you music lovers come in!
With a special text & sms initiative, you can help Armin to raise as much money as possible to help the AIDS victims. By texting 'Armin' to 1008, you donate a part of the costs of your text (different with every provider), to charity. But that's not all, cause by doing so you're also be in the running for two tickets for A State of Trance 500 in the Brabanthallen, Den Bosch, including a hotel-stay, goodybag and meet & greet with Armin in the radio studio there.
So Dutchies, be sure to text 'Armin' to 1008 and support Serious Request! For more info, check http://seriousrequest.3fm.nl.
