Over the past years EDX a.k.a. Maurizio Colella has been making a name for himself in the international EDM scene, playing the world’s finest clubs and biggest festivals – everywhere from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, São Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul, Taipei, all the way to Melbourne and Sydney as well as holding a weekly summer residency in 2011 at the world’s number one club – Space, Ibiza.
With the release of his long-awaited debut album ‘On The Edge’, February 2012 will be etched in memory for thousands of clubbers, enjoying the amazing achievement of the Switzerland-based artist EDX. ‘On The Edge’ is the result of years of experience that characterized EDX’s past in the studio and on stage at his numerous gigs across the globe. It will take you on a journey of pure life and love. Even the most demanding ears will fall in love with the catchy sounds of this album, which features some of the most amazing voices in the world including Nadia Ali, Sarah McLeod, Tamra Keenan, Hadley, Sam Obernik, John Williams and Jerique.
Always involved in the music industry since his early age, EDX is the living proof of a successful artist and globally acclaimed remixer and producer, working for the likes of Axwell, Benny Benassi, Kelis, Deadmau5, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar, Kool & The Gang, Kaskade, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello of the Swedish House Mafia, Dubfire and many others. Whether he is playing a small intimate club or at a huge festival, EDX’s ability to reach and impress the most demanding audiences is evident to everyone that has seen him perform – and his album won’t let anyone down.
