Chicane - Far From The Maddening Crowds
It’s been 15 years since Nick Bracegirdle released his long-awaited debut album. Following the success of his singles ‘Offshore’ and ‘Sunstroke’, he presented ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’ in 1997. It became one of the biggest releases in dance and trance land, and is still considered one the most important releases in EDM history.
We’ve re-released this essential album, bringing you classics such as ‘Offshore’, ’Sunstroke’, ‘Leaving Town’ and ‘Red Skies’. A perfect piece to kick-start your summer, with the typical and beloved Chicane sound.

Chicane – Somersault
The follow-up to his ‘Far From The Maddening Crowd’ and ‘Behind The Sun’ albums, was an album that definitely raised some dust. ‘Somersault’ was his first self-released album on Modena Records, and featured collabs with the likes of Tom Jones and club hits ‘Spirit’ and ‘Come Tomorrow’.
Released in July 2007, Chicane has definitely proven to be more than a one-hit wonder. His latest album, ‘Thousand Mile Stare’, released in the spring of 2012, has that same Chicane vibe that we’ve come to love so much throughout the years, though more diverse than ever. Time for a trip down memory lane and rediscover some of Chicane’s biggest classics. Enjoy ‘Somersault’!
