Armin van Buuren receives Edison Award

Last night during the yearly presentation of the Edison Awards, which took place in the Melkweg in Amsterdam this time, Armin van Buuren received an Edison Award in the category 'Dance' for his 2nd and latest artist album "Shivers" .

Last night during the yearly presentation of the Edison Awards, which took place in the Melkweg in Amsterdam this time, Armin van Buuren received an Edison Award in the category 'Dance' for his 2nd and latest artist album "Shivers" .
The Edison is the eldest music award in the Netherlands and is presented since 1960. The award is comparable with the American Grammy Award, the German Echo or the Brit Award. The Edison is presented in the shape of a bronze statue. The jury consist a group of people who have got to do a lot with popmusic by virtue of one's profession.
