April 19, 2016

Today, Amsterdam-based record company Armada Music racked up yet another meritorious achievement. The record label’s YouTube channel surpassed the amount of 2.5 million subscribers, ensuring its position among the biggest dance music YouTube channels in the  world.

Starting its audiovisual YouTube endeavor on August 20th, 2006, Armada Music has since seen an explosive growth in the amount of subscribers. The Armada Music YouTube channel had reeled in 100.000 subs by August 2011, after which the channel saw an increase of 2500% in less than five years, landing them a whopping 2.5 million subscribers as of today. In addition, Armada Music’s videos have garnered almost 1.8 billion views in total.

One of the big contributors to the surreal amount of views is undoubtedly the official music video of Lost Frequencies’ hit single ‘Are You With Me’. The music video garnered 165.500.000 views in less than two years, dethroning the official music video of Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon Den Adel – ‘In And Out Of Love’ (165.300.000 views) as the channel’s most-watched video.
