Albion - Air
Classic time! One of the very first projects of Dutch mastermind Ferry Corsten, was Albion. Even before his big breakthrough, it was his track ‘Air’ that made him rock the global floors. This 90’s trancer was the official b-side to his ‘Reach The Sky’ E.P., but grew more popular than the A-side. And for good reason.
With its melodic, deep touch and energetic trancy stabs, ‘Air’ was one of the peak-time tracks, warming the crowds and moving the masses. Next to the original 1997 version, Ferry also came up with an updated ‘Open Air’ treatment in 2000. Acid elements, a new prog-trance sound, but that same melodic flow made this new remix of ‘Air’ cause another vibe in dance land. Released with an early tech-house touch-up by Oliver Lieb, ‘Air’ continued to do what it did best: madden the crowd.
14 years after the original came out, we now make this beautiful classic return! Along with the original, Open Air treatment and Oliver Lieb remix, this is one essential package if you want to know where your trance roots come from.
