Armada Stream 40 2012 – 28July 13th, 2012
Summer’s bringing some changes to the dance music scene. Now that the first wave of sun-drenched hits has slowly started to fade, a new current rises. And along with that new current, comes a new number one!
Markus Schulz takes the lead with his sexy and seductive collab with Adina Butar, ‘Caught’. Rocking clubs, haunting charts and moving crowds, is also a specialty of Mischa Daniels. Together with singer U-Jean, he hits number 2 in the Stream 40, with the catchy ‘That Girl’. Orjan Nilsen, who just doesn’t seem to be able to produce a bad track, closes the Top 3 with ‘Endymion’, another winner for the peak-time hours.
W&W and Jochen Miller brought an ode to summer, and the crowds have embraced it. The melodic ‘Summer’ takes charge of number 4. Then last, but not least for the Top 5, we’ve got a new entry by no one less than Paul van Dyk. The German producer/DJ hooked up with Arty and brings us ‘The Ocean’, topping the Stream 40 at number 5!
Other new entries, and high ones as well, include Heatbeat’s ‘Extra Bacon’ and ‘Chow Mein’, Beat Service’s ‘Fortuna’, Sean Tyas & Giuseppe Attiviani’s ‘Arcobaleno’, 2 Faced Funks’ ‘Arabia’ and Roger Shah’s emotional ‘One Love’ ft. Carla Werner.
