There are still some tickets available for Electronic Family. We advise everyone to buy these the official way through website www.electronicfamily.nl. Presale stops Friday night 29 June at midnight. Tickets will also be sold at the entrance of the festival for 55 euro each. This makes it easy for visitors who decide to come over at the last moment; they won’t need to look on the internet or search the black market for tickets. Safe and reliable! Electronic Family’s gates will close at 8pm.
Electronic Family official merchandise
At the festival special Electronic Family shirts will be on sale for 20 euro. Available in women’s and men’s sizes at the merchandise area.
There will be ATMs at the festival grounds.
You need to be 18 years or older to enter Electronic Family. In case of doubt you might be asked for ID.
Electronic Family manages the so called ‘zero tolerance’ policy as to the use of hard and soft drugs. This means nothing of the sort is allowed at the festival. Visitors who don’t apply to these rules run the risk of being removed from the event or, in case large amounts are being found, to be handed to the police.
There will be a sufficient amount of lockers available, supplied by MyLocker.
Traffic and transportation
Electronic Family will take place at the specially for this constructed festival area ‘Land van Bosse’. This area does not have an official address.
When navigating, fill in Schiphol, Poortstraat or Schipholdijk. You will automatically come across the signage to the parking areas at Schiphol-Oost, P50, P51 and P57 and will be picked up by employees of traffic control. Because of several road blocks it’s wise to follow the signs ‘P Electronic Family’ and not park your car on your own initiative. Parking costs 15 euros.
There will be bike parking areas around the festival. The most convenient route from Amsterdam is through the entrance of the Amsterdamse Bos at the visitor’s center. This route is indicated in the forest itself. Going back the forest will probably be too dark by then, all bikers are therefore allowed to return on the regular roads, traveling over the Nieuwe Meerlaan and via the Bosbaanweg. Bikers from Amstelveen or Aalsmeer have to use the Bosrandweg and move to the bicycle parking from there. There’s a seperate parking area for scooters and mopeds.
Because the Land van Bosse is poorly reachable with public transport it’s best to travel to train station Amsterdam Zuid-WTC. From there small shuttle busses will depart to the festival, costing 5 euros for a detour. The busses will be available at the Strawinskylaan. Please check the train schedule at www.ns.nl before traveling. Starting a week before the event the most recently planned railway constructions are processed in the schedules. Also, check all connections from the Zuid-WTC station, after 11pm not all destinations can be reached from here.
Taxis and Kiss & Ride
There will be a taxi standplace at the Burgemeester Colijnweg. Here is also the possibility for the socalled Kiss & Ride.
