Classic of the week: Pulser – My Religion

June 10th, 2012

May we have your attention please? Have you fastened your seat bells? Put the volume on max? Cause it’s time to go back to the roots of trance… It’s classic time!

If one track deserves the ‘classic trance tune’ title, it’s Pulser’s ‘My Religion’.  Being the second release on the world famous A State Of Trance imprint, this energetic uplifter will remind you of the early ASOT sound. ‘My Religion’ has a strong, edgy bass line that’ll let each sound system shake to its foundations. After the surprisingly smooth intro part and the mesmerizing break, the track proceeds to the recognizable main lead, and that’s exactly when it kicks in hardest!

Back in 2003,  ‘My Religion’ was the theme song for one the biggest events at the time: Global Gathering, held at Long Marston Airfield, Warwickshire, England. The man behind this big room tune is Andy Perry. He’s been in the EDM scene for more than a decade and has a massive discography consisting of many great tunes, like ‘Cloudwalking’,  ‘Point of Impact’ and ‘Square One’.

‘My Religion’ is part of the Armada Trance Top 1000 on Spotify. Want to hear more classic tunes of the Trance Top 1000? Then check out our Spotify Channel!
