If you consider yourself a trance fan, then it’s time for you to know where it’s coming from. Discover the history of this beloved genre and enjoy some of its biggest jewels. To help you get started on some essential trance-facts, we’ll introduce you with one of its classics each week. With this week: Armin vs. M.I.K.E. – Intruder.
Released in 2004, this up-tempo trancer takes you past acid-inspired elements, a raw techy pulse and has all ingredients to get a 5 am crowd back to peak-time movement. Armin van Buuren teamed up with Belgian producer Mike Dierickx, guising under his legendary M.I.K.E. moniker for more than 15 years. Together, they rocked ten-thousands of clubbers with a much harder type of tune than many of you are used to hearing from Armin.
