IDMA nominee: Shogun

February 16th, 2012

Moving nowhere else but on the way up since his debut release in 2010, made American producer Andrew Chen one of EDM’s names to look out for. Impressing audiences with several top notch productions under his Shogun moniker, has seen his name feature on several Top 10 charts and appear in the tracklists of numerous DJ sets and radio shows. And if the voters are on his side, his name will also shine on the International Dance Music Award for ‘Best Trance Track’!

In 2011, Shogun made a grand entrance with his new single ‘Skyfire’, rocking Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance 2011 compilation. After its long-awaited release, it shot straight to the Beatport Trance Top 10. At the end of 2011, it was voted number 4 in the A State of Trance Top 20 of 2011, representing one of the most popular trance tracks of that year. And that’s not the end of the success for this atmospheric, melodic tune. ‘Skyfire’ is nominated for an IDMA on ‘Best Trance Track’!

If you want Shogun to win that much-wanted award, head off to the voting ballot and cast your vote now! Voting ends March 1st, so don’t be late!  http://wintermusicconference.com/idmaballot/finalballot
