M6 – Fair & Square

March 29th, 2011

There’s absolutely no style Dutchman Mark Sixma can’t handle. For the past five years, he’s been keeping himself busy producing outstanding anthems for warm-up bliss, peak-time pleasure and cool-down action. He’s delivered deep, dark techno-influenced masterpieces like ‘Deep Inside’ and ‘Into The Unknown’, sparkling, uplifting delight such as ‘The Rising’ and ‘Opus Sectrum’ and big, floor-destroying sounds like his ‘Genesis’ and ‘Inferno’ collabs with Willem van Hanegem.

On his latest production, ‘Fair & Square’, he returns to pure tech-trance sounds and blast the roof off the clubs within the very moment the track’s big room riff kicks in. Heart-throbbing bass and a melodic, trancy touch shortly before the break come together to a tight mix, meeting high quality standards.

Representing the Russian dance scene as one of the country’s fastest rising trance and progressive producers, it’s Alexander Popov who translated ‘Fair & Square’ on his remix into a prog-trance sounding track. ‘Fair & Square’ is another strong addition to the catalogue of both producing talents.
