John O’Callaghan’s plans for the summer
June 8th, 2010
The life of a number one Irish DJ isn’t just about relaxing, world-fame and travelling to beautiful places. Most of the time, it’s all about hard work and music-making. Luckily, John O’Callaghan is not afraid to get his hands dirty. After the successful release of his artist album ‘Never Fade Away’, John already has the successor to this one planned…
It’s early days, but John has already started ideas and demo’s for his next album in 2011. John is really excited about some of the tunes, and has already been in NYC working with vocalist Betsie Larkin. Speaking about their tune John said: “I have a good feeling about this one, my close friends who have heard it so far, really liked it. I’m looking forward to getting to work more on it in the coming weeks.”
When it comes to gigs, there’s no settling down for John either. Just before his big tour in Australia and South-America in October, the Subculture label owner will take over Ibiza several times in a row. The Ibiza season is just about to kick off and John is very proud to be jetting over for 6 dates at the best club on the Island – Cream at Amnesia! John will be road testing several exclusive cuts from his studio on the hallowed Amnesia decks over this summer. We can’t wait.
