Armada Music is een muziekmaatschappij die zich onder andere bezig houdt met het uitbrengen van muziek (26 labels), wereldwijd distribueren van muziek en opzetten van evenementen in zowel binnen- als buitenland. De 26 labels vertegenwoordigen een grote variëteit in hoge kwaliteit dance muziek, van trance en progressive tot house tunes. Bekende namen als Armin van Buuren, Mischa Daniels, Markus Schulz, Remy en StoneBridge hebben hun eigen label bij Armada Music.
Algemeen

Armada Music is op zoek naar een derde of vierdejaars student met sterke affiniteit voor zowel de dance muziekindustrie als het schrijversvak. Als stagiair leer je om te gaan met wervend, commercieel en informatief schrijven over dance muziek, artiesten en DJ’s. Daarnaast krijg je een stukje verantwoordelijkheid voor de online promotie van tracks, albums en artiesten.
Twee dagen zijn gereserveerd voor algemene werkzaamheden, de (eventueel) overige dagen kunnen in overleg ingevuld worden met een (afstudeer)project.

Jouw taken
- Nieuwsitems en korte stukken voor de website en newsletter schrijven
- Online promotie via communities als Twitter, Facebook en Hyves
- Interviews met artiesten opstellen en uitwerken
- Release-info voor singles, albums en digitale albums schrijven
- Persberichten opstellen
- Webredactionele taken als het online plaatsen van items via WordPress of CMS systemen

Jouw profiel
- Je bent student HBO, derde of vierdejaars
- Je hebt ervaring en affiniteit met schrijven, zowel in de Nederlandse als in de Engelse taal
- Je bent bekend met de dance muziek en artiesten die Armada Music vertegenwoordigt
- Je beheerst de Engelse taal zeer goed, zowel in woord als schrift
- Bekendheid met Adobe Photoshop is een pré
- Je bent sociaal, opbouwend en toont initiatief
- Je werkt zelfstandig, maar bent een teamplayer
-Je werkt pro-actief , zorgvuldig en nauwkeurig

Armada Music is a record company that releases high quality dance muziek (26 labels), distributes music and sets up events in both The Netherlands as abroad. The 26 labels represent a big variety in dance music, ranging from trance to progressive and house tunes. Popular names such as Armin van Buuren, Mischa Daniels, Markus Schulz, Remy and StoneBridge have their own labels at Armada Music.

General
Armada Music is looking for a 3rd or 4th-year student with a strong affinity for both dance music industry and writing. As an intern, you’ll learn how to write commercial and informative about dance music, artists and DJ’s. Next to that, you also hold the responsibility for the online promotion of tracks, albums and artists. Two days are reserved for general responsibilities, the other days are open for a possible (graduation) project.

Your tasks
- Write news items and short articles for the website and newsletters
- Online promotion via online communities such as Twitter, Facebook and Hyves
- Set up artist interviews and rework them to articles
- Write release-info for singles, albums and digital albums
- Set up press releases
- Online editorial work with WordPress or CMS systems

Your profile
- You’re an HBO student, in your 3rd or 4th year
- You’re an experienced writer, both in Dutch and English
- You’re familiar with dance music and the artists Armada Music represents
- You know how to work with Adobe Photoshop
- You’re social, dare to take initiative and eager to learn
- You’re independent, but also a team-player
- You’re pro-active and accurate
