Dash Berlin with Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren
Man On The Run (The Remixes)
Download

Time to finally reveal the remix package of chart hit ‘Man On The Run’. We know you’ve been waiting for this one. Shortly after the release of the original track by Dash Berlin, Matt Cerf, Shawn Mitiska and Jaren, a true hunt-down to the upcoming remixes followed. Kept exclusive, the Nic Chagall and Andy Duguid remixes were anxiously put onto EDM lovers’ wishlist. But the waiting has been worthwhile, for these heavy-weight remixes will certainly please.
Andy Duguid’s remix is a bit darker than we’re used to hearing from him. A unique sounds, with heavy distorted vocal teasers and a tear jerking, breathtaking break, are all part of this remix. Nic Chagall approached the track with a very minimalistic sound. Think salt and pepper-shaking beats, deep drums, a surprising melody lead in the middle, and naked but rich vocals by Jaren.

Originality in vocals effects, a blend between house, trance and any EDM style related to progressive that comes to mind and an unmistakably own sound are what make Claudio Pelissero’s productions stand out. Less than a year ago, it was ‘Cygnes’, in collaboration with Mr. Sam, that shattered across the numerous clubs and hallways. This time, it’s going to be Claudio himself that’ll get the party going. With a slightly dramatic feel, totally absorbing you into the track with its piano and feather-light synth, ‘Rain’ is more than fit to get the crowd going. Fit for peak-time moments or opening-madness, one thing’s for sure; ‘Rain’ was already featured on Markus Schulz’ ‘Toronto ’09′ album and was one of the more memorable tracks on that one. ClAud 9 proved to be much more than a one hit wonder.

Italian producers Fabio XB (also known for his productions under Alex Bartlett) and Andrea Mazza team up for a strong vocal track called ‘Light to Lies’. A crystal clear pair of vocals, trancy synths and a firm beat define this track, that comes in multiple remixes. Stuck between deep progressive, trance yet filled with housy thunders, Gareth Emery defined the track to an outstanding dance floor destroyer in his remix. Dyor went into the deep with a profound, proggy remix, and Guiseppe Ottaviani pitched things up to turn it into a typical uplifting trance track with his sound all over.
A lovely package of a more than lovely track!

3. So House (Radio Treatment Mix)

Signum
Signum 2009 Remixes Vol. 3
Download

Signum’s history keeps repeating itself. But not in the same shape as their timeless productions used to be. No, both Signum and Paul Webster have given it a new twist. First off, there’s Signum’s very own 2009 remake of ‘Come Around Again’. Anita Kelsey’s beloved voice still forms the center of attention on this lush trancer, with sythns and tech- beats all over. Paul Webster’s remix of ‘Third Dimension’ puts that techy sound an extra bit harder on ‘Third Dimension’, to make it cross the dancefloor with an all-destroying power.

1. Come Around Again 2009 (feat. Anita Kelsey)
2. Third Dimension 2009 (Paul Webster Tribal 2009 Mix)

French producer Arnaud Caschera likes to keep it fresh. Though the title to this slick track refers to the past, Da Fresh continues to experiment with several styles.
Even though ‘Yesterday’ is a refreshing conflict of sounds, he still manages to find harmony between minimal clicks, trancy synths, almost hidden guitar and techy beats. The result is a contagious, effective track too hard to define, but bound together by the electronic elements it carries. The ‘Yesterday’ package comes with two remixes. A Greg Cerronne remix with an infectious prog-house approach, and an even more energetic and housy Zoo Brasil remix fit for the dancefloors.
