Armada Music and BNN join forces with ‘Armada Sessions’ on 3FM radioApril 29th, 2009
Upcoming Saturday night, May 2nd, Dutch radio station 3FM will broadcast the very first Armada Sessions; a cooperation between Dutch public broadcaster BNN and the Amsterdam based record company Armada Music. From then on, the 2 hour radioshow will officially be part of 3FM’s weekly dance program ‘The Sense of Dance’.
In the past 6 years, Armada Music has grown out to a household name in the international dance industry. Less than a month ago Armada Music, with its 24 sublabels, artist management and worldwide events, was chosen ‘Best Global Dance Label’ at the renowned International Dance Music Awards in Miami. Armada Music was created back in 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis, and is now, about 1700 releases later, ready for the next step. Armada Music has started ‘Armada Sessions’ on radiostation 3FM, and will include guest mixes by some of the best artists and provide updates on the latest releases within the dance scene.
On Saturday night May 2nd from 2am to 4am CET (Sunday morning), the first Armada Sessions will kick off with no one less than Armin van Buuren, StoneBridge and Blake Jarrell. The Sense of Dance is broadcasted every Saturday night on Dutch radio station 3FM and hosted by Daniel Lippens (22:00-00:00hr) and Ajouad el Miloudi (02:00-06:00hr).
