This Week Single Releases (45)November 5th, 2008
Colombian producers/DJ’s Armando Velasquez Iral & Andrea Saenz have caught a direct flight to success. Peaky high violin, a substantial beat, a calm break before it breaks the house down. These are only just a couple of elements that make ‘Flight 887′ stand out.
It’s that one song that just keeps floating around in your head all day. Andrea Saenz explains: ‘Flight 887 was based on the first tour of Da’Others, to South America. We decided to name this song after this beautiful continent cause the track worked so well there.’ We’re pretty sure it’ll work anywhere.
Flashbrothers: Its a good one here, like it!

The Return / Fading Memories / Eventuality / Life Goes On
Like a lean mean producer machine, Arnej is releasing one hot track after another. This time he’s back with his 8 Wonders guise and brings us 4 beauties of trancers, ready to blow that dust off your speakers.
His deep and profound sound is loved by many and gives us a good view on how diverse this guy’s inspiration is. ‘The Return’ is the most moody track of this pack, with a dark twist and unexpected deep break with a proggy feel. ‘Fading Memories’ works with emotions, with the sensitive piano as a leading path and a melodramatic yet uplifting touch to cover it up. ‘Eventuality’ combines the old trance sound we know from the late nineties with Arnej’s new and developed characteristic style of producing with a stirring track as the result. As a bonus, you get the diverse ‘Life Goes On’, that sounds exactly the way playful trance should sound like. 8 Wonders has performed another miracle.
Armin van Buuren: Huge EP! My favorite is the Return!
M8Mag: Great sounds and full support! The return is the one for me.
John O`Callaghan: The Return gets my support!
M.I.K.E. : Eventuality for me!
Mark Pledger: Loving Unspoken Truth!
DJ Shah: Fading Memories gets my support
Signum: Great release by 8 wonders! Supporting 3 out of 4!!

A lively piano, pulsating beat and housy oldskool vocals. Reza is definitely showing off his skills with his new banger ‘Live Again’! This guy understands what a tune needs to make an impact.
Reza is an established producer and has been a prominent figure in the dance scene for quite some years now. He was recently described as ‘A Great Talent’ by UK’s Radio 1 and has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious clubs and events. And future’s definitely looking even brighter for this mister.
‘Live again’ was already featured on StoneBridge’s ‘The Flavour, The Vibe’ compilation and is now being released on his Stoneyboy imprint at Armada. Next to the already banging original mix, there’s the StoneBridge remix, with a deeper flavor added and the Steve Haines & Lil’ Joey Mix with an exciting build-up and impressive break.

Back To You
DJ Shah feat. Adriana Thorpe
An untouchable chemistry. That’s what you get when you combine the warm, tender voice of Adrina Thorpe with the tropical heat and always shining, sunny sounds of DJ Shah. Their co-op track ‘Who will find me’ has stolen the hearts of numerous music lovers, dj’s and producers both in and outside the scene. But there’s more to come.
Another track that goes beyond beauty, is ‘Back to you’. Already featured on Shah’s massive ‘Songbook’ album, hammered by the big dj’s and receiving tremendous feedback by fans, this next release on the Magic Island imprint is definitely a good follow-up for their earlier success.
The formula to success comes in the form of soft guitar, catchy beats, a leading piano twist and last but not least, a steady pace in which Adrina manages to capture you with her delicate but spot-on vocals, again. It keeps you longing for nothing else but more, more and more.
Added to this tasty basket, is the smashing remix of Egyptian trance kings Aly & Fila, who took the song to another level and dipped ‘Back to You’ in their well-known trance sound.
Armin van Buuren: one of the records of the year for me!
Judge Jules: Supporting the original!
Ferry Corsten: Support on Corstens Countdown
Aly & Fila: Absolutely brilliant track!
