Armin best Dutch DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100
For the first time in his career, Armin van Buuren is the best Dutch DJ in British DJ Magazine’s Top 100. Last night Armin van Buuren was elected no. 2 DJ in the world by the renowned DJ list. Over 220,000 dance fans in more than 150 countries voted for their favourite DJ. For the second consecutive year German DJ Paul van Dyk secured the top position, finishing just before Armin.
Looking back on a decade of DJ-ing it has been Armin’s most successful year to date. Undoubtedly, the highlight was last year’s grand scale show “Armin Only” in stadium A’hoy Rotterdam. Together with Artists like Racoon and Ray Wilson 12,000 fans experienced an unforgettable dance event. The massive success has inspired Armin to rock A’hoy Rotterdam again on November 11, 2006. With several surprise Artists in this amazing show, Armin will celebrate the launch of his brand new album “10 Years” that will be in stores this November.

Markus Schulz goes to the number 19 position
Markuz Schulz who just released his cd ‘Ibiza ’06′ moved two spots higher to the 19th position. Markus has been winning over fans with his dark, brooding, melodic productions and DJ sets. He has captured a vibe in trance that was previously only heard in house music. Markus is still one of the favourite DJ’s by the public and championed therefor a global titel that is rock-solid.

M.I.K.E. goes up to 76
M.I.K.E. managed to climb up this year to the 76th position. He has already been listed in the DJMAG Top 100 for three years now. The Belgian DJ has putted the Belgian dance scene firmly on the map with pole positions in the global dance charts and DJ sets all over the world.
