Neal Scarborough - Kanya

SUBC012 - September 27th, 2010

Neal Scarborough's first steps on the stairway to trance were accompanied by John O'Callaghan, the number one Irish DJ and producer, himself. Under their Inertia moniker, the two of them were responsible for 2005 underground hit 'The Chamber'. Both guys decided to step things up and chose the solo-path in 2007. Neal saw his sound travel the globe with his 'Madagascar' and 'Panama', right before returning to a new chapter of John O'Callaghan's career: the Subculture label.

With 'Kanya', Neal Scarborough brings a great release to the label, coming along with a warm, melodic and energetic feel to it. Its bittersweet, melodic build-up tweaks into a euphoric bomb on the break, backed up by wondrous effects. This is the finest in trance, traditional but original.

When it comes to tempting hands-in-the-air-combo's of synth-trance and classical layers, Slovenian producer Andy Blueman is the man to ask for. His translation of 'Kanya' is emotional and delivers sounds for the heart and soul to carry you away, deep into the world of trance.
