The show is one of the highlights in the career of any DJ, ‘cause only the biggest DJ’s are given the honour to create the 3 hour mix and have it be part of the BBC’s Radio 1 show. It’s not the first time that Armin’s having an Essential Mix though. His first one, in 2003, was followed by Essential Mixes in 2004, 2006 and 2009. Armada Music launches Armada Bookings

Armada Bookings, the official bookings agency of the award-winning record label Armada Music, has kicked off. The agency, working together closely with AT’s booking division Extended Music, kicks off with DJ’s Antillas, Alexander Popov and Ruben de Ronde. Armada Bookings is also responsible for the Armada Night events, the successful club experience which has taken place and sold out in more than 20 different countries across the globe.

Next to building an artist’s career through music exploitation and the management division of Armada Music Management, Armada Music now also stimulates the DJ side of the artists. The close relationship of Armada Bookings with the record company offers great opportunities for both parties. The infamous Armada Night concept, which had its own stages at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival in Buenos Aires and Santiago earlier this year, can also be booked via Armada Bookings. The DJ’s
Armada Bookings kicks off with three talented DJ’s. According to promoter ALDA Events, the concert on Saturday the 16th of November was sold out within a few hours. And today the regular tickets for the concert on Friday the 15th of November we’re sold out.

‘This Is What It Feels Like’ enters UK Singles Chart

‘This Is What It Feels Like’, the first single of Armin van Buuren’s ‘Intense’ album, entered the UK Singles Chart at a staggering #6 this week! On A-list rotation on BBC’s Radio 1, Kiss FM, Capital FM, MTV Dance and many more, the single featuring singer/songwriter Trevor Guthrie hasn’t only taken charge of the EDM lists, but also grew into a mainstream success. ‘Intense’, the fifth artist album of the world’s number one DJ, was released on Positiva last Sunday. The album continues to dominate worldwide charts.

Intense’ is the long-awaited follow-up to Armin’s successful artist albums ‘Mirage’, ‘Imagine’, ‘Shivers’ and ‘76’. The album also contains hit-single ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ featuring Trevor Guthrie, of which the music video (with a surprising guest appearance of Ron Jeremy) clocked up more than 3.9 million views already. ‘Intense’ is the most eclectic and diverse album Armin van Buuren has ever done.
