Maltese DJ and producer duo Tenishia make their Armada Night debut, but that doesn’t mean Joven Grech and Cyprian Cassar don’t know how to get a crowd going. These guys had the honour to receive the Malta Music Award for ‘Best Dance Track’, started their own production school, work with artists like Roger Shah, Kirsty Hawkshaw and Jan Johnston and travel the globe to spread their warm, progressive trance sound. They’re currently making waves with their single ‘Stranger to Myself’ and remixes for Markus Schulz and Ørjan Nilsen.

Norwegian DJ/producer Ørjan Nilsen is no stranger to the Armada crowd. During the first 2010 edition he spun an outstanding, diverse set and left a memorable impression with his new track ‘So Long Radio’, which can be found in the CD case of almost every A-list DJ. Ørjan, who was responsible for the biggest summer-tune of 2008, ‘La Guitarra’, has had 3 Armind releases this year already, with ‘Lovers Lane’ up next.  More ear-candy, from rousing guitar-lines to feel-good house, are ahead and will surely be part of his set at Armada Night.

For nearly ten years, DJ RAM collaborated with Dutch DJ and producer Bas Abels. Under the BAS & RAM moniker, the duo took charge of clubs all across the globe and stole hearts with the darker tech-trance style. In 2009,the guys decided to go separate ways and so RAM returned as a solo artist. And he returned strong. He produced last year’s outstanding ‘RAMsterdam’, hammered by Armin van Buuren and danced to by millions – including the Dutch royal family. With that fact in mind, it’s no surprise RAM’s looking forward to play ‘his’ city again and roadtest the follow-up to this monstertrack.

Tenishia, Ørjan Nilsen and DJ RAM will be backed up by Armada’s A&R manager; ElSandro. As an Armada Night resident, ElSandro feels more than comfortable in the Westerunie, touching the crowd with a contagious mix of progressive, house and trance. The Dutchman already played on a couple Armada Nights earlier this year in countries like Russia and Israel and definitely knows how to warm up the Armada crowd!

This time German DJ and Producer Roger Shah is going to look after the crowd. After releasing his compilation ‘Magic Island: Music For Balearic People Volume 3’, he exchanges his studio for a more exotic scenery. He will be accompanied by two familiar faces, if you’ve been keeping up with Rogers latest productions. First of all, there’s Dutch Guitarist Eller van Buuren on the line-up, who’s grown his own fan base in EDM with unrivalled guitar-skills and collaborations with Shah, Armin van Buuren, Tenishia and more. On the live vocals, we’ve got the British singing talent Chris Jones. He lent his voice to Roger and Armin van Buuren for their track ‘Going Wrong’ and left quite an impression with his performances at Armin Only. The trio will once again join forces and rock the crowd.

The three of them kick off on July, 2nd. Brazil is waiting! First destination of their journey is going to be the extraordinary Club Nox in Recife. Almost one week later, on July, 8th, Argentina can show its moves with another Armada Night experience. One of Argentina’s most famous clubs, Crobar, Buenos Aires, presents its second Armada Night of 2010. The first edition took place in May and became a great success. Six years after his debut album ‘Can’t Get Enough’ and more than 20 years after his first release, StoneBridge hands in his third artist album, released at Armada Music. First off, we got Armada Night resident ElSandro. Still recovering from his 3 night tour in cold Russia, the DJ that’s been warming up the Armada crowd for years already, is now ready for peak time madness. Not only is he the A&R manager of Armada, he’s also making name as a producer with his latest track ‘Style Fusion’. ElSandro’s melodic blend of progressive house and trance is guaranteed to rock the Tel Aviv floors.

Another big name in the Armada Music family, is Dash Berlin. The Dutch DJ/producer and Aropa Records owner arouses crowds all across the globe and has gigs in Miami, Mexico, Indonesia, Canada lined-up for the next couple of weeks. His first compilation, ‘United Destination 2010’ is set for release on March 22nd, while his ‘The New Daylight artist album still makes the repeat button the dance scene’s best friend. Saturday the 29^th of May, Westerunie venue in Amsterdam. You’re sipping your drink, being  surrounded by friends and likeminded music lovers. The mood is right. Music playing? The Armada sound, brought to you by Ruben de Ronde. This Dutch DJ/Producer feels right at home at Armada,  having his ‘Natural’ and ‘Grand Boulevards’ released and tingling the senses with his prog-housy remixes for the likes of Robert Nickson, W&W, Marcus Schössow, Aly & Fila and Push. During Armada Night, Ruben will warm up the crowd with a mix of progressive, house and trance.

As the night progresses, the crowd heads for a United Destination. Dutch DJ/producer and Aropa Records owner Dash Berlin will take over and showcase his new compilation ‘United Destination 2010’, out on March 22nd. The dance scene still has his debut album ‘The New Daylight’ on repeat and will certainly recall his set during last year’s Armada Night in May. The Dash Berlin sound, a balanced blend of big room trance, deep progressive house and an unmistakable attitude, will once again give the Westerunie crowd everything it needs at that moment.

All the way from beautiful Egypt, Armada Music invited the unrivalled trance duo of Aly & Fila. Armada Music looks back onto a splendid series of Armada Nights, at a venue that has begun to feel like home. Hundreds of Armada fans walked across the Westerpark, lured by the warm beats sounding from Westerunie. Once inside, the vibe was right and some of the biggest Armada DJ’s served the finest beats around. Roger Shah, Andy Moor, John O’Callaghan, Dash Berlin, Signum and Ørjan Nilsen are some of the outstanding DJ’s that graced the decks during previous Armada Nights.

The next Armada Night, on Saturday May 29^th, will feature another selection of top notch DJ’s, to be revealed soon. Just be sure you cancel your holiday, reschedule that date (or bring him/her with you) and get your dancing shoes polished, cause May 29^th you’re swinging things down at Westerunie once more.

These special editions of Armada Night will take place in Club ARMA17, Moscow on the 20th of February, Club Galaktika, Dzerzhinsk on February 21st and Tele Club, Yakaterinburg on the 22nd of February. The sound of Armada will surely get those Matroesjka’s moving , as the DJ’s will take the crowd to a higher level with a mix of deep progressive, full throttle trance and techy side-steps.
