Let’s get social!January 25th, 2013
As all of you already know, Armada Music is éverywhere. When you’re done searching the website for news and scoops, you can visit one of the many Facebook pages, Google+ pages, Pinterest and Twitter accounts. Also for our Russian fans who don’t have Facebook, we’re present via VK.com. Let’s not forget the Armada and all of its related YouTube channels, where you can admire all the music videos, old and new. With millions of fans keeping track of Armada and Armin through social media, you start to wonder, who’s behind all this?
That’s where we come in! And by ‘we’, I mean the Armada Music Social Media Team. Outside of Armin’s personal messages, we are here to keep all of you up to date on everything that’s going on. The Social Media team consists of no less than 5 people; Danielle (Content Manager), Roy (New Media Assistant), Eve (Social Media Manager), Evert (Social Media Assistant) and yours truly; Charlotte (Social Media Assistant). It took a while for us to form this amazing team, but now that we’re here, we’re not going anywhere!
So I hear you thinking, ‘What do you do all day’? Well, did you notice all the fun pictures, quotes, albums etc. that are being posted every day on all the Social Media platforms? That’s us. The videos that are added to the YouTube channels? That also is our work. We make sure you’re completely up to date on the latest Armada, Armin van Buuren and ASOT music and happenings!
Our social media work hit its peak when the whole Armada office turned into one big Social Media family, during A State Of Trance 550 in 2012. Armin toured all across the globe for ASOT550 The Invasion, and we were there every step of the way! We stayed up all night, sitting at the Armada Music HQ, keeping track of everything that was going on and staying in touch with our fans, who were listening from home or were present at the event. We told you which DJ was playing, which track was playing and we shared the most awesome pictures with you through Facebook, Twitter and the special website live.astateoftrance.com. This way, everybody felt part of the Invasion, exactly what we aimed for. During ASOT550 in Den Bosch, we drove to the Brabanthallen to report live on location! We got our own little Social Media corner inside the Studio where Armin was doing the radio show. This was such a special experience, all working together as 1 team, lifting Social Media to the next level.
So, let’s stock the RedBull, because February2013, ASOT600 will kick in, and of course we will be there, making sure you don’t have to miss a thing!
