Making a stellar rise in EDM land, Omnia is quickly making name as one of the fastest rising prog-trance producers and DJ’s. High goals and determination are the key words to this Ukrainian artist, paying off in a #58 new entry in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll of 2012. Blissed with the support of the DJ elite and expanding his fan base all across the globe, Omnia makes up for big future promises.
Man behind it all, is Evgeny Smirnov. Born in 1987, he would grow up with a diverse taste in music, loving and exploring the beauty of different genres. In the 90’s, he turned his passion for EDM into a hobby and started toying around with producing programs. After discovering trance music, Evgeny knew which path to follow…and started developing his very own sound.
A sound that became loved and praised for its golden melodies, relentless energy and incredible drive. With the support of big names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond, he released highlights such as ‘Plug & Play’, ‘The Fusion’(ft. IRA), ‘Infina’ and The Blizzard collaborations ‘Closer’, ‘Metanoia’ and ‘My Inner Island’. Together with singer Ana Criado, he created the beautiful ‘No One Home’, followed by Cathy Burton collab ‘Hearts Connected’ and ‘Halo’ featuring Melissa Loretta. Knowing his way around with vocals as well as providing heavy, powerful instrumentals, Omnia also became a much-requested remixer. The melodic Omnia touch was given to tracks by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Orjan Nilsen, Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Boom Jinx and Markus Schulz.
Keep an eye on this one, cause these next following years we’ve got a shooting star emerging from Ukraine.
